Superintendent Joe Nicks presented a resolution authorizing the district to apply for the Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services — School Violence Prevention Program (COPS SVPP) grant. Board member Brandon Pitre moved to pass the resolution and Dr. Maggie Salem seconded; the motion carried by unanimous vote.
