Commissioners hold Cope 2 Lot 24 replat after resident objection and developer request to delay
After staff explained that replats require new hearings following an attorney opinion and a neighboring landowner filed an objection, the court agreed to hold the replat of Lot 24 (COPE 2) to allow the developer, residents, engineering and the fire marshal to seek alternatives; staff said future notice (30 days) will be required if the item is reposted.

County staff briefed the court on a replat request for Lot 24 in the Cope 2 subdivision and explained that an attorney opinion concluded the 30‑day automatic approval clock does not apply to replats, so a new public hearing was required. Staff said they received a landowner objection and the developer asked for a postponement to Dec. 8 to meet with residents and staff.
