During a question-and-answer portion, Lori Moltry said applicants may submit more than one application and that each proposal is considered on its own merits. She advised that if a funded project needs to be changed, grantees must submit a request to the HCI administrator and obtain committee approval before making material changes. Moltry also cautioned that if bids come in higher than expected the HCI award amount does not change and the grantee is responsible for covering the difference.
