The Dawson County Board of Commissioners opened and closed the second of three public hearings on the 2026 Millage Rate and Property Tax on Aug. 6; no one from the public offered comments during the session. The board recorded the hearing and set a final public hearing for 5 p.m. on Aug. 20, 2026, with the millage-rate adoption expected at 6 p.m.
