The San Perlita Independent School District Board of Trustees on Aug. 13 approved construction documents for districtwide upgrades and authorized the superintendent to approve the Request for Proposals and the form of contract for construction. The projects outlined include upgraded playgrounds, science labs, renovations to the original elementary and ag barn, athletic facility work (baseball/softball fields, track & field, tennis courts), a fieldhouse, a transportation building, drainage improvements and new roads. Porfirio Rodriguez Jr. moved to approve the documents as presented; Maria Contreras seconded and the motion carried.
