Committee approves multiple personnel upgrades, contract extensions and recovery‑service support
The Health and Human Services Committee approved several staffing authorizations and contract extensions, including upgrades to account clerk/bookkeeper roles, a registered nurse fill, support for Columbia County Pathways to Recovery, and an Oxford House recovery residence report.

During regular committee business, members approved a set of personnel actions and contract items. Commissioner Bob Gibson requested and the committee approved an upgrade to a senior account clerk position and authorization to create and fill a bookkeeper job; motions on both items were seconded and carried by voice vote. A later motion to fill a registered nurse vacancy in public health also passed.
