Council receives first reading of 2026 Comprehensive Plan Update

During the July 28 meeting Alaina Geres, the Community Development Director, presented the City’s 2026 Comprehensive Plan Update, which she described as Carlisle’s primary policy guide through 2050. She summarized the public engagement process—community meetings, workshops and a survey—and reviewed major focus areas including land use, housing, downtown revitalization, parks, economic development and implementation strategies.
