Board Chair Collin Sewell recommended pausing the meeting recording once several small breakout groups formed without a quorum present. The minutes record that the board passed a motion to recess at 9:14 AM CST (motion by Connie Miner; second by Theresa Barrera-Shaw) and that the motion passed unanimously. The board later passed a motion to reconvene at 9:29 AM CST (motion by Ed Rivera; second by Erich Holmsten).
