Denmark board adopts budget coding and accounting changes for Salt Barn capital project
The Town Board approved budget account additions and adjustments to document WQIP grant and BAN proceeds for the Salt Barn project, adopting Resolutions 63 and 74 to add state aid, interfund transfers and BAN principal/interest codes totaling specified amounts.

Supervisor Scott Doyle told the board that North Country CPAs recommended adding specific account codes to properly document receipt of WQIP grant funds and the bond anticipation note (BAN) used for the Salt Barn capital improvement. The board adopted Resolution 63 of 2025 to add A3097 (State Aid Capital Project Revenue) for $551,578.00, interfund transfers A5031H $76,280.00 and A5031V $6,773.00, and an appropriated fund balance A599N of $11,137.00.
