Trustees approved the 2025–2026 Student Code of Conduct unanimously on Aug. 18, 2025; administration said principals used the TASB model in drafting the code and board approval was required.

The Valley Mills ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2025–2026 Student Code of Conduct during its Aug. 18 special meeting. Trustee Kristy Hollingsworth moved the measure and Trustee Jake Wolf seconded; the vote was 7–0.
