The Wayne County Board of Supervisors appointed Mark Humbert as County Administrator at its Aug. 10, 2026 meeting. Mr. Johnson presented the selection committee’s recommendation to offer Humbert the position and annual salary of $163,508 to serve through the current unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2026. The appointment references County Law No.1‑1993 Section 3 regarding filling a vacancy for the remainder of an unexpired term.
