Bill would let PERB resolve CSU contract standoffs, unions say
AB 1818 would restore Public Employment Relations Board oversight when CSU and bargaining units need to renegotiate, after recent disputes over contractual raises. Teamsters and Cal State workers testified the change is needed to prevent CSU from refusing raises; CSU told the committee it moved from oppose to neutral on recent amendments.
