The Columbus Independent School District Board of Trustees held a special meeting April 2, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Columbus High School CISD Board Room to interview superintendent applicants and to consider next steps in the district’s leadership search. Trustees listed as present were Robert Russell (president), Bo Schobel (vice president), Dorothy Wostarek (secretary), Lee May, Kimberly Johnson, Michele Eden and Carla Wiggs.
