Superintendent Joel Blalock updated the Covington I.S.D. board on facilities and operational matters at the Nov. 10 meeting, saying the district has received bids for a new sound system for the high‑school gym and for replacement windows in the STAR building. He said the campus parking lot needs attention but repairs will be solicited only after a separate connector‑building construction project is completed.
