Covington I.S.D. board approves election services interlocal, tables intercom replacement and reschedules January meeting
At its Dec. 8 meeting the Covington I.S.D. Board approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Covington for May 2, 2026 election services, unanimously tabled consideration of a new intercom system, and moved the Jan. 12 meeting start time to 6:00 p.m.; motions were unanimous.

The Covington I.S.D. Board on Dec. 8 approved an interlocal government agreement with the City of Covington to provide election services for the May 2, 2026 school board election. The motion to approve the agreement was made by Vice‑President Kevin Ray and seconded by Cody Nickell; all seven board members voted in favor.
