School leadership reported preparations for STAAR testing and other academic events at the Feb. 2 board meeting. The elementary principal told the board that midyear testing for kindergarten through third grades has been completed and that stand‑alone field tests are scheduled for third and fourth grades as part of STAAR benchmark work.
