Commission sets Sept. 8 hearing on Puccinelli road-abandonment request
After a site visit report, the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Commission voted 5-0 to set a Sept. 8, 2026 public hearing to consider a request by Tony Puccinelli to abandon a dedicated street that dead-ends in a mountainside.

The Commission voted Aug. 18 to set a public hearing for Sept. 8, 2026, on a petition by Tony Puccinelli to abandon a dedicated street that, according to Commissioner Mike Beausoleil’s site-visit report, "dead-ends into this with tree branches right into the mountain." Beausoleil and a companion who visited the site concluded the alternative access would serve adjacent properties and saw "nothing wrong with it" in recommending the matter proceed to hearing.
