Several residents used the Nov. 10 public comment period to register opposition to the city's rental inspection program and the inspector overseeing it. Kathy Bradshaw of West Des Moines, Neil Levine of 414 Wilson St., Lynn Lyon of 5175 Kelsey Dr., and Paul Scieszinski of 414 Wilson St. each "spoke in opposition to the city's rental inspection program and the inspector." The minutes record these statements but do not show any council response or immediate action on the program.
