Mayor Ian Shealy opened a public hearing on proposed code changes tied to the town's Comprehensive Plan update and asked Sr. Planner Paul Dennis of Jackson Civil Engineering to summarize the draft revisions. Paul Dennis said the changes "must include accommodating more middle housing, excluding barriers for affordable housing," and that the draft adds definitions, opportunities for accessory dwelling units and regulations for EV charging units.
