Controller/Administrator Brenda Taeter presented the job description and proposed 2026 wage scale for a full-time IT Technician and recommended adding the position to the county Staffing Control Summary effective October 1, 2026. Taeter asked the board for flexibility on the starting wage; Commissioner Petersen moved to approve the job description and wage scale with starting-wage flexibility and the motion carried.
