Deputy administrator outlines voter-services action-plan progress

Deputy County Administrator Megan Moser presented updates on the voter services action plan, reporting completion of training documentation and exercises related to the Shore/Shure system and poll-book generation ahead of the primary. She said staff developed dual-signature, multi-level approval steps and spot checks, including a detailed review of physical poll books before they were sealed and distributed to judges of elections.

Moser also noted organizational changes: the board established the Chester County Voter Registration Commission following the prior Board of Elections meeting. She said voter services deployed a post-election feedback survey to judges of elections and poll workers and received 124 responses (a roughly 50 percent response rate), which staff will process over the summer. "We have completed training documentation and exercises for the poll book generation in advance of the primary," Moser said, and reminded the public the full updates are posted monthly on the county's voter-services website.

Moser highlighted that the action-plan recommendations cited on the agenda are considered complete or in an ongoing implementation stage, and asked the public to check the poll-book investigation tab on the website for the full status of recommendations.
