Smith County approves wage increases for two employees after executive session
Following executive sessions on non-elected personnel, the board approved wage increases for Allen Lanus (additional duties) and Kodie Bixler (additional training); both motions carried unanimously.

After convening in executive session to discuss non-elected personnel, the Smith County Commission approved two wage increases. Commissioner Kurt Ifland moved to increase Allen Lanus's wage "due to additional duties," a motion that was seconded by Commissioner Brady Peterson and carried unanimously. The commission also approved a wage increase for Kodie Bixler, again by motion and unanimous vote.
