Solid Waste Director (speaker) told the board that disposal-fee line items and repairs are at risk of being exhausted if current tonnage patterns continue. He said the transfer station has averaged about 2,500 tons a month in recent months and that the department’s disposal expense line could be depleted before the fiscal year ends.
