County Approves Disaster Declaration for December 2025 Windstorm
Emergency Management presented a Disaster Declaration for a December 2025 windstorm; the Commission approved the declaration while cautioning that approval does not guarantee disaster funds will be received.

EMS Director Steve Esser presented a Disaster Declaration related to the December 2025 Windstorm and requested the Commission’s approval and the Chairman’s signature. Esser said he is working with Fall River County and Pennington County on the matter and noted that the declaration "may not" result in disaster funds being awarded to Custer County.
