Levy County code enforcement allowed the Layfields 30 days to permit or remove unpermitted sheds/containers and 60 days to clear trash and litter; staff documented unpermitted containers, trailers in the right-of-way, and scattered litter.

Code enforcement officer Bradley Frazier told the magistrate that Crystal and Tony Layfield’s parcel in University Estates (parcel ID 0968400600) contains unpermitted containers and a shipping container, trailers parked in the right-of-way and scattered litter. Frazier noted the violation was first observed on Nov. 13, 2025 and documented attempts to notify the property owners.
