The court reviewed competing IT-service proposals. ISTT, the county's incumbent on-call vendor, proposed $6,150 per month (about $73,800 annually plus web hosting), while BK Technology proposed $7,398 per month (roughly $89,976 annually plus hosting). Judge Barnes urged the court to consider whether to continue contracting externally or hire one or two in-house IT staff for continuous, day-to-day monitoring rather than patch work.
