Bingham County commissioners held a public hearing Nov. 18 on proposed amendments to Title 10 of county code, which govern public hearings, administrative appeals, variances and remand procedures. Planning Director Tiffany Olsen presented the proposed language changes (updates to notice timing, posting, appeal periods and remand mechanics) and recommended adoption following the Planning & Zoning Commission'9s review. After one public commenter raised concerns about time limits for testimony, the Board discussed balancing robust public input with efficient hearings and voted to approve the modifications.
