Commission directs counsel to terminate GeoBitmine county lease
The Bingham County Board voted to direct legal counsel to draft and send a termination letter to GeoBitmine, ending the county's lease relationship with the company; the motion carried unanimously.

During the Jan. 2 work session the board considered an outstanding lease relationship with GeoBitmine. After discussion the commissioners directed County Legal Counsel Ryan Jolley to draft and send a termination letter to GeoBitmine, effectively ending the county's lease arrangement. Commissioner Jensen moved the direction; Commissioner Jackson seconded; all voted in favor.
