Revenue Commissioner plans to contract mapping with Flagship, adds full-time appraiser position

Revenue Commissioner Mary Ann Ellison told the Commission a Reappraisal Office employee is retiring and she does not plan to replace that individual on staff. Instead, Ellison said, the office will contract mapping and mapping-data entry services with Flagship, the vendor that already handles the county mapping website. She noted the Reappraisal Office is funded through tax collections and asked the Commission to check whether the service needed to be competitively bid.
