Commission approves TBS personal property audit contract over chair's objection
By a 6–1 vote, the board approved a contract with TBS to conduct personal property audits; Chairman Will Boyd recorded the lone opposing vote.

The Screven County Board approved a contract with TBS for personal property audits in a roll-call vote March 10. Commissioner Rosa Romeo moved to approve the contract and Commissioner Edwin Lovett seconded; Commissioners Justin Smith, J.C. Warren, Mike Dixon, Ben Thompson, Rosa Romeo and Edwin Lovett voted in favor and Chairman Will Boyd opposed. The motion therefore carried by majority vote (6–1).
