The Tatum City Council authorized staff to prepare a formal letter to an Exxon store raising concerns about nearby road and drainage issues, Councilman Wendell Moore moved and Councilman JR Smith seconded the motion, which the council approved. Mayor Michael Henry told the council that many local road failures are caused by drainage problems and that grading work will be needed to address the underlying issues.
