City Administrator Sergio Loya told the council that Billy Huggins of Robertson County Emergency Services will work with the City of Calvert to implement emergency alerts at no cost to the city. Loya said the city’s emergency siren has not yet been tested. A planned presentation by TextMyGov regarding text alerts and notification systems was postponed until further notice.
