Following a public hearing, the Logan County Board of Commissioners approved a conditional-use application from Sandhills Equine LLC to construct and operate a small horse carcass composting site. Jennifer Nicholson, zoning administrator, presented the materials provided by the applicant and told commissioners the Logan County Planning Commission recommended approval on Aug. 3, 2026.
