Logan County approves levy allocations for Stapleton Rural Fire District and Agricultural Society

The Logan County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 19 adopted Resolution #26-4 allocating tax levy funds requested by two local entities. The board approved a total of $75,000 for the Stapleton Rural Fire District (General Fund $54,000; Sinking Fund $21,000) and $24,800 for the Logan County Agricultural Society (General Fund $17,360; Sinking Fund $7,440). Motion to adopt was made by Nathan Kramer and seconded by Jon Hill; the vote was unanimous (Yeas: Wonch, Hill, Kramer).
