Perry Township trustees voted April 8 to accept a paving bid from Russell Standard for resurfacing work. The board recorded one bid of 4,840 square yards of 2.5-inch FB Modified at a unit price of $19.55, for a total contract amount of $94,622.00. A motion to accept the bid was made by Frank Basile and seconded by Tom Brookover; the minutes record: "A motion was made by Frank Basile seconded by Tom Brookover to accept the bid. Vote: All in favor."
