Rock Island Academy earns RAMP designation; Thomas Jefferson reports ST Math gains
Rock Island Academy earned the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation and will be honored at the ASCA conference July 14, 2025; Thomas Jefferson staff reported that 15% of students have reached a 1,000‑puzzle ST Math milestone associated with a 4.8‑point NWEA MAP gain in nearby district data.

Board members used their reports portion of the April 8 meeting to highlight recent district achievements. Rock Island Academy earned the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation and will be honored at the ASCA Annual Conference on July 14, 2025, in Long Beach, California. The board noted the district's counselor Amy Zero was named the 2024 Illinois School Counselor Association K–8 Counselor of the Year.
