The Zoning Board approved a special‑exception request on Aug. 17 allowing the conversion of one garage bay into living space at 2606 Danbury Lane, a roughly 1,800‑square‑foot home in Council District 4. Planning staff described the request as coming after fire damage and said the property has an active building permit; staff did not object to the special exception because the remainder of the driveway provides the required off‑street parking.
