Staff: Golf course will open to the public June 27

City staff told the workshop the golf commission met on June 2, 2025, to review course conditions and has set the public opening date for the golf course as June 27, 2025. Staff said crews are completing work on the greens and that electrical hookups and coolers needed for the clubhouse remain to be installed before opening. "It was determined by the golf commission to open the golf course to the public on 06/27/2025," the staff member said.

Staff identified attendees of the site review, including Andy, Cody and Glenn, and outlined membership options for the season: existing special pricing will continue, credits may be applied toward annual memberships, or customers may instead use a punch card option. Staff cautioned that annual-membership timing can complicate revenue accounting at year-end and said they will follow the current special unless a change is directed.
