The Point Isabel Independent School District board convened a public hearing on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) during its Sept. 16 meeting. Cecilia Castillo moved to convene the hearing, seconded by Andrew LeBlanc; the roll-call vote recorded all seven trustees as 'Aye.'
