Selectboard reviews Hazard Mitigation Plan sections, beach projects and local legislation update
The Selectboard reviewed sections 1–3 of the town Hazard Mitigation Plan and asked staff to share them with partners. The board also noted porta potties delivered to Fairfield Pond Beach, pending FNLC grant paperwork for beach and boat launch work, and that the town's Act 181 letter has prompted similar action by other towns.

Town Administrator Cathy Ainsworth walked the Selectboard through updated sections 1–3 of Fairfield’s Hazard Mitigation Plan, explaining cross-checks with census data and other frameworks to improve accuracy. Board member Brian Dubie praised the work and asked that sections 1–3 be shared with Maurice and planning partners and community members supporting the effort.
