Township awards $86,950 contract to replace Activity Center retaining wall
Findlay Township approved a low bid to replace an aging railroad-tie retaining wall at the Activity Center, awarding Ten Mile Paving $86,950. The board said the existing wall is approximately 28–30 years old and recommended replacement.

The Findlay Township Board of Supervisors voted July 8 to replace the Activity Center’s retaining wall, awarding the contract to Ten Mile Paving for $86,950. Township Manager Thomas Garrett said the current railroad-tie wall, installed about 28–30 years ago, is deteriorating and the township engineer recommended replacement; nine bids were received and the engineer selected Ten Mile Paving’s proposal.
