Commissioner Tom Harding presented the first reading of Ordinance 2026‑514 amending the City Code (Chapter Six, Article II — Dangerous Structures) to address certification and recertification of existing and future multi‑story structures. Harding said the revisions are intended to bring the City's code into alignment with state law changes enacted after the Champlain Towers collapse.
