Township opens PLGIT account to handle payroll transfers
Morris Township opened a general-fund account with PLGIT to handle payroll direct deposit transfers (no transaction fees). The Board authorized the Secretary to transfer between funds as needed; motion passed 3–0.

The Board approved opening a new general fund account through the Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust (PLGIT) to be used for payroll direct deposit transfers because those transactions carry no fees. Chairman Bracey moved to authorize the Secretary to transfer between accounts as needed; Supervisor Janet Coffield seconded and the motion carried with three ayes.
