The Brooks County Commissioners Court on July 2 accepted the county's 2025 audit after an outside auditor reviewed key pages and financial schedules. Raul Hernandez, CPA, presented the audit and highlighted the major funds, special revenue funds and the schedule of fund balances; Commissioner Nora Salinas moved to accept the audit and the motion passed by unanimous roll-call vote.
