The board approved a TASB pay-system review to analyze district compensation and produce recommendations on competitiveness across the state. The superintendent told trustees the cost would be "$8,850 plus about $2,000 of travel reimbursement for consultant," and said TASB will present the findings and strategies to help the district be more competitive in teacher recruitment and retention.
