Council adopts residential parking changes after Vision Zero briefing
Council Member Trey Hermann presented 'Vision Zero' traffic-safety goals and the council unanimously authorized the solicitor to amend and advertise an ordinance to change the West side of Gailey and Church streets (between Franklin and Jefferson) to residential parking.

Council Member Trey Hermann opened the transportation segment with a presentation of Vision Zero, a strategy for eliminating traffic fatalities and severe injuries. "Vision 0 is a strategy to eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all," Hermann said, and he noted Media has aligned its traffic-calming goals with Delaware County's work and federal data sources.
