Board committee reviews OS7 process for grant authorization

The finance committee discussed the district's administrative rule OS7, which currently requires an annual board resolution authorizing the superintendent or a designee to apply for and administer grants. Miss Crosby (speaker 5) said the committee is researching whether a permanent amendment to OS7 could eliminate the need for yearly resolutions. "We are in the process of researching this," she said, noting the district had not yet determined any state law that would require the annual resolution.
