Warren County approves Verida subrecipient agreement to run coordinated transportation

Graham said the county will serve as the local subrecipient after the regional commission ceased coordinating transit; the board unanimously approved a DHS Coordinated Transportation Agreement naming Verida as the contracted provider and said reimbursements will follow contract rates and completed senior transports.

Chairman John R. Graham told the board that the Regional Commission is no longer responsible for coordinating transportation services in the county and that the contracted provider has transitioned to Verida. "The state has an agreement with Verida to administer the coordinating transportation services in our area," Graham said, and he explained Warren County will act as the subrecipient and be reimbursed based on the contract rate and number of transports for senior citizens.
