Council casts regional votes and approves letter supporting Collin County Outer Loop

The council took three intergovernmental actions during the Oct. 7 meeting. Mayor Pro Tem Amanda Wilson moved, and Derrick Little seconded, that Nevada cast its Texas Municipal League Regional 13 Director ballot for West Mays; the motion passed unanimously. Council Member Clayton Laughter moved and Mike Laye seconded a resolution casting Nevada’s Collin County Central Appraisal District Board vote for Jerry Tartaglino; the resolution passed unanimously. Separately, the council approved sending a letter of support for the Collin County Outer Loop - Southeast development (motion by Amanda Wilson, second by Derrick Little), also approved unanimously.
