Board reports multiple expulsions and records split votes on secondary actions
After closed session the board announced actions on several expulsion cases (2027-01 through 2027-04); motions to expel were moved and carried and in at least one case a secondary motion to suspend the expulsion recorded a 5–2 tally.

The board reported actions taken in closed session on multiple student discipline matters and called for motions and votes on a set of expulsion cases identified by case number. The public record notes motions to expel for case numbers 2027-01, 2027-02, 2027-03 and 2027-04, with voice votes taken and motions recorded as passing. For one case the board then moved to suspend the expulsion as a secondary action; the chair read a numeric tally of "5–2" for the secondary action when asked for clarification.
